10.19.11 - Troutlodge's Twin Falls hatchery featured in local news story

Troutlodge recently completed construction of the first of five sets of raceways at our new egg production facility in Twin Falls.  Brood fish will arrive shortly as we near production of our first eggs that will be supplied to customers in the nearby "Magic Valley".  Click here to see a video of news coverage of these events by local television station KMTV.

04.04.11 - Troutlodge acquires egg production site in Idaho

Troutlodge, Inc. expands production capacity in the USA through the purchase of Canyon Trout Farm in Twin Falls, Idaho. This facility was previously owned and operated as a food fish production site. The site is on first use pathogen-free spring water at a constant temperature of 12°C (54°F). Significant investments will be made to upgrade the facility, including a new incubation building and reconstruction of the raceways. The target is to have the first eggs available from the site in early 2012. The company intends to use this site to produce a majority of the eggs that it supplies within the USA.

Proaquatix, a division of Troutlodge Marine, was recently featured in Coral magazine.  This article highlighted Proaquatix's work in breeding captive-bred Lookdowns (Selene vomer), an iconic marine species prized by aquarium hobbyists around the world.

Troutlodge announces changes within its management team. Troutlodge, Inc. of Sumner, WA is proud to announce that Mr. Brent Hinners has been promoted to Vice President of Operations, Eastern Washington and that Mr. Andrew Barfoot has been promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In addition, the company is pleased to announce the Mr. Bill Witt has been appointed to the newly-created position of Live Fish Sales Manager for Eastern Washington.
